(120 min) A successful Broadway act, Bob and Phil, become romantically interested in The Haynes Sisters, Betty and Judy, an up-and-coming club act. Bob and Phil decide to follow Betty and Judy to the Columbia Inn in Pinetree, Vermont, a ski resort where the sisters are performing for the holidays, rather than their original plan to head back to New York to rehearse their latest show. Unknown to Bob and Phil, the Columbia Inn is owned by their former, and now retired, General Waverly, who served as their general during WWII. He risks losing the Inn in America’s winter wonderland, so the quartet teams up to save the failing Vermont inn–where it is almost always a “White Christmas”–in this classic film starring Bing Crosby.
