PYGMALION and Champaign Park District are pleased to announce multiplatinum singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist MATT MAESON will perform at the historic Virginia Theatre on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Maeson’s Watch My Step tour hits Champaign as part of his trek around North America this spring and summer. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, March 27 at 10am.

Matt Maeson makes songs for those moments when you need them the most. No matter how fast life goes, he can get a grip on it and slow it down just enough to sing about it. The Virginia-born and Nashville-based multiplatinum singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist transforms complicated feelings, uneasy thoughts, and self-doubt into arrestingly catchy alternative anthems anchored by relatable and raw emotion.
