The creators of #IMOMSOHARD, Jen Smedley and Kristin Hensley are heading out on a Fall Tour with their brand-new show, #IMOMSOHARD: LADIES’ NIGHT. Guaranteed to make you laugh, these two real-life best friends, comedians, and moms dive-in to all things womanhood, motherhood, and friendship. There are countless new things to talk about (plus a few old things to talk about—in new ways) like surviving marriage, fashion, and the tween-teen years.
Kristin and Jen of #IMOMSOHARD have been the voice and comedic relief for millions of women (and more than a few men) for nearly a decade. With over 300+ million views of their viral videos, an Amazon stand-up special, a New York Times best-selling book, a children’s book, a wine line, a podcast, and a CBS pilot, these moms have been spreading the truth and the laughter about womanhood and motherhood.
IMOMSOHARD began life as a popular web-series hosted by Jen Smedley and Kristin Hensley. One night, over a glass of wine and many tears of frustration, these two best friends decided to tell a different kind of story. With a camera, two husbands, a babysitter, and bottomless mimosas, Kristin and Jen decided to speak openly about their fears and failures and prove that the only way to survive motherhood is through laughter and friendship.
The phenomenon that Kristin and Jen created has since been optioned for development by Warner Brothers Television. The comedians have also sold-out two national tours, landed branded deals with Wal-Mart and Uni-Lever, and taped a standup comedy special for Amazon Prime Video, launching the network’s first standup comedy platform. They have recently premiered their weekly podcast and a children’s book series with HarperCollins. Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley are both based in Los Angeles.
